Ingredients — Butter Garlic Shrimp with Lemon
1 to 1.5 lbs
shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Fresh garlic (minced)
Butter (divided for cooking and sauce)
Chicken broth
Fresh lemons (sliced or juiced)
Fresh thyme and other favorite herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Method — Butter Garlic Shrimp with Lemon
1
Heat your cast iron skillet over an open flame, add a generous amount of butter, and let it melt. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then add them to the hot skillet along with the minced garlic, cooking until just pink and seared on both sides.
2
Pour in the chicken broth and add more butter, fresh lemon juice along with a few lemon slices, fresh thyme, and your other herbs directly into the skillet with the shrimp.
3
Let everything simmer together for a few minutes over the open flame so the flavors meld into a rich, buttery garlic sauce.
4
Remove from the heat and serve hot right out of the cast iron skillet.
